Wow, what an amazing performance last Friday by the 5th graders! They worked so hard, they should be proud of all their hard work. I am so proud of them! It's always difficult to return to our regular classroom schedule after such an exciting 3 weeks. The students have done a great job with the transition.

**Parents sometimes wonder about appropriate dress for the Closing Ceremony.
Boys generally dress in shirts and ties, or a full suit, a nice golf shirt and
khakis or even dress shorts. Girls generally dress in dresses, sundresses,
skirts and blouses or even dress shorts. I implore you to have students avoid
overdressing as if they were attending prom! Also, keep an eye on dress length
and awkward footwear. Your child should be dressed for this special event but
still be comfortable and at ease in their clothing.
*Please consult the Blake Bear Connection and other communications for more details about Olympic Day and the Closing Ceremony.
